Membership of the Club is open to all owners and keepers of dogs of every breed and type. No geographical restrictions apply. An annual Membership subscription is payable on
joining the club, and thereafter, annually on 1st January.
Download and complete the Membership Application Form to save time at enrolment.
Membership provides access to all the dog club activities (Training, Agility, Fly-ball, etc.) without any additional charge except for the class attendance fee. Members are also invited to special events and social activities that may be arranged during the year.
Note - No increase from fees charged for 2011
All paid Members have voting rights (subject to the
currently approved Rules) and may attend
the Annual General Meeting Training Fees For all Training Classes, including Scenting, Obedience and all Activity Classes (Agility, Fly-ball, etc) a £1 per session fee is charged, payable on the day.
Joining the Club Puppy Classes If you wish to join the Club for Puppy Classes, you dog should be no more than 18 weeks of age. The youngest age is normally around 12 weeks (I.e. Approx 2 weeks after second injections or as advised by your vet) There is no need to contact the club beforehand, just arrive any Tuesday evening between 7:00 and 7:15pm, ready to join in the class scheduled to start at 7:30.
Junior Classes For dogs from 19 to 16 weeks of age we offer a
special Junior class at 8:30pm every Tuesday evening.
Mainstream Classes For dogs of 6+ months, to any age, we offer our Mainstream Training
Classes. However, if you have already attained any level of the KC Good Citized Dog Scheme, or if for any other reason you consider your dog to be ahead of the starter training the Beginners class offers, then mention this when joining and we can carry out an individual assessment to determine the calss most appropriate to your dogs ability.
You may join th club and start training at any time. However, we strongly recommend pre-attendance to our Intake Seminar that is provided on the first Sunday of every month at 10:00am.
As these are intended as informative talks to help you prepare for training your dog at NDTC we would request that you do not bring your dog into the clubhouse for the duration of the talk (approx 30mins).
